Scott, my data indicates I'm very unlikely to find love. So I'm thinking about giving up on women entirely. And before anyone makes a comment...that does not mean taking up with men.

Scott - We had something... it was nice. Sad to say, it didn't last.

And the saddest part was that I lost having a daughter... she had a little girl from a previous marriage, who had me wrapped around her finger.

Still, for all that pain and loss, if the situation ever came up where I met someone that lived that far away, I'd move again. ^_^

Scott - Well, we lived and loved together for nearly 2 years... but no thanks to the weak job market in Spokane and things I couldn't follow through on, we broke up and I had to move back to Florida.

Scott, I'm reminded of Nathan Detroit from Guys and Dolls.

Renee, my advice from years of dealing with emotionally stunted relatives is to concentrate on something that has nothing to do with the issue. It is called avoidance. It works wonders for me until I have my periodic minor nervous breakdown. But that is very cleansing.

Courage, well, that's something you'll need to gather unto yourself.

I can say this much, I did move to another location (way across country, from Florida to Washington) to be with someone I loved.
