oh, we set the sand dune on fire every single year. it's part of the attraction. They ever try hosing it down ahead of time and it still burns. *L*

Spike - *L* Oops.
I remember about 8 or 9 years ago when a nearby church was firing off their big fireworks. They shouldn't been firing 'em off on a windy day; a nearby field got set on fire.

We had this friend who worked in an office downtown faing the river.. we used to go up there and watch from the big windows.. AC, no crowds.. and were were eye level with where the fireworks went off.

My best fireworks display was when the city set up the fireworks show in the gravel pit at the end of our street. Somebody knocked one over and EVERYTHING went off all at once. We were laying in the back of my dad's Ranchero and it was like the sky exploded.

It was cloudy here the last couple of nights so I expect a lot of firework shows that were postponed will go off tonight.

still think the best 4th celebreation i ever had was the year i was away at field camp. we went to the rodeo then the whole valley shot off fireworks and since we were up on the mountain we looked down on a lot of them and it was gorgeous.
